Bayside House is a lovely, spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the beachside suburb of Port Kennedy. It’s located close to beautiful park reserves, schools, shops and public transport.

This home has an open-plan lounge and meals area, with a modern kitchen and breakfast bar. There’s a bonus theatre room, a games room leading onto a protected outdoor patio, and a spacious activity area.

We are looking for two ladies to join our current, young at heart 71-year-old female tenant who enjoys knitting, crocheting and outings to the zoo. These vacancies would ideally suit females who enjoy a little peace and quiet, as well as plenty of space to enjoy their indoor and outdoor activities.

Room information

Two very generous vacant bedrooms both with built-in-robes, dark carpet, stylish light fittings and neutral wall paint.

One bedroom looks out into the back yard, the other out to the southern fence line. There is a ducted cooling system in all bedrooms and living areas.

House information

Open plan lounge and meals area, with bonus games room leading onto a protected outdoor patio. The modern, gourmet kitchen has plenty of cabinetry, a breakfast bar and quality appliances. There is also a spacious activity area which can be used as a sensory room or area to study, as well as a separate theatre room to the front of the home.

Ducted cooling system throughout, while the main living areas have quality carpets and stylish downlights. The shared tenant bathroom is finished with floor to ceiling tiles and frameless shower screens.

Easy-care landscaped gardens, with a sunken gazebo and a 3m x 3m garden shed.


One current tenant – 71-years-young female. Personality: Young at heart, enjoys a little peace and quiet. Always willing to help with the vacuuming and tasks around the house. Interests: Cares for 2 lovely pet birds that live in a cage in the patio area. Enjoys knitting, crocheting outfits for her dolls, and outings to the zoo and shopping centre.

Located in the beach side suburb of Port Kennedy, close to beautiful park reserves, schools, shops and public transport, with a bus stop right out front of the house for easy access.


Accessible with no modifications, with a ramp for the front door to be installed for easy wheelchair access.

Current support model

Bayside House is staffed on a 24/7 basis at a 1:3 ratio. Skill set and training of staff includes: First Aid, medication training, infection control, healthy cooking and assistance in daily living.

Factors to consider when applying

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure appropriateness and suitability.

• You are aged 18 years or over

• You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS funding.

• You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) an accommodation agreement.
