One is creative and enjoys spending time at his art table or heading out for community activities, while the other prefers a quieter pace and values his own space. Both appreciate a calm, structured home with predictable routines and have shared their home together for many years, creating a stable and welcoming atmosphere.

Location information

Located at the foot of the Perth Hills, only a short distance to Perth Airport and right next to the upgraded highway, which provides direct access to the city, nearest shopping centres and beaches.

Accessibility

This property is single-level and wheelchair accessible in all the common areas, including the kitchen. The main entrance to the house has ramp access.

Current support model

Rostered 24/7 care.

All staff have current First Aid and medication training. Regular household and vehicle safety checks are conducted.

Factors to consider when applying

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible. 

  • You are aged 18 years or over. 

  • You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding. 

  • You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.

The property is owned by Foundation Housing with staff support provided by Life Without Barriers.
