Housemates
Five (5) long-term, male housemates, aged in their 50s to 60s.
Interests: The current housemates are friendly, enjoy structured routines and like spending time together. All residents attend day program or supported employment and enjoy being out and about in the community in their local area. Their ideal housemate would be someone who is interested in football, music, engaging in conversations and who will contribute to the running of the house.
Location information
This house is in the North Eastern suburb of Greensborough, 5 min walk to Greensborough Plaza, pharmacies, cafes, hairdressers and post office. Greensborough is located 17 kilometres from Melbourne CBD.
Accessibility
This property is not fully accessible. Access to the house is via a steep driveway with five steps to the front door, thus not suitable for someone who mobilises using a wheelchair. The bathroom is also not fully accessible.

Rostered 24/7 care.
The SIL staff are trained in Positive Behaviour Support, Dual Disability and Ventilator Management (CPAP).
During weekdays, the SIL support ratio varies dependent on the time of day and the day activities of the residents. It is a flexible ratio between 1:5 and 2:5 during peak times.
On weekends the SIL staff ratio is 2:5 between 8.30am and 10.30pm. Between 10.30pm and 8.30am the ratio is 1:5 of Inactive Night (Sleepover support).

You are aged 18 years or over.
You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding.
You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.
