These villas are in the quiet suburb of East Side, not far from Alice Springs CBD, just a short drive away. You'll find the Alice Springs Olympic Pool a 2-minute drive and the Alice Springs Aquatic and Leisure Centre just 6 minutes away. Current support model

Each Villa includes an on-site bedroom and ensuite for support staff, intentionally separated from the main living area to promote and support independence. This arrangement ensures support workers can come and go without disrupting tenants.

Life Without Barriers have been invited by ADAPT Housing to provide personalised on-site support to Villa residents, including overnight assistance. Our tailored support model is designed to meet individual needs and may offer cost-saving benefits by sharing support services among the villas.

Factors to consider when applying

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible.

  • You are aged 18 years or over.

  • You are eligible for, and able to secure, NDIS High Physical Support or Fully Accessible Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding. Improved Liveability SDA funding will also be considered.

  • You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement. You will receive a Tenancy Handbook which further explains the separation of housing and supports.
