The kitchen overlooks the dining area and is adjacent to a large, comfortable living room. This fully furnished home also has internal laundry facilities including a washer and dryer.

Housemates

Current housemates are 1 female and 2 males, aged in their early to late 50s

Interests: Listening to music, attending day programs, attending group and individual outings for picnic and walks, shopping and day trips.

Located a short walk away from Carlton train station and Kogarah park. Easy access to shopping and medical centres plus easy access to restaurants and cafes.

Accessibility

This property is fully accessible with wheelchair access throughout the home.

Current support model

Rostered 24/7 care including active night shifts. All staff have current First Aid and medication training as well as additional training such as for Stoma Care training. Regular household safety checks are conducted.

Safety checks on all vehicles are also regularly undertaken.

We place an emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and wellbeing with a focus on fresh food. The staff enjoy preparing and cooking delicious meals with the help of housemates.

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure an appropriate match and suitability. 

• You are aged 18 years or over. 

• You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS funding. 

• You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) an accommodation agreement.
