This three-bedroom duplex is adjoined, via a locked hallway to another three-bedroom duplex, and share the outdoor space and facilities:

Housemates
There is currently one female resident in the duplex, aged in her 50s.
Interests: The current resident participates in regular activities such as swimming and painting. They also engage in one-on-one outings in their local community and socialize with family and friends. Additionally, they attend a day program from Monday to Friday and take part in individual community activities.
Location information
There is easy access to freeways, train stations and buses, while reputable schools, shops, eateries, playgrounds, and lush parks and reserves are nearby. Approximately 15 minute drive to Northern Hospital Epping and 5 minute drive to Bundoora Health Centre.
Accessibility
This duplex has been designed to improve ‘Liveability’ by incorporating a reasonable level of physical access and enhanced provision for people with sensory, intellectual, or cognitive impairment.
There is level entry to the duplex and for access into the backyard.
Current support model
The house is staffed seven days a week with an Active Night overnight model of care.
All staff are trained in epilepsy management, positive behaviour support and dual disability.
All staff have current First Aid and medication training.
Regular household safety checks are conducted.
Factors to consider when applying
Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible.
You are aged 18 years or over.
You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding.
You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.
