We’re currently seeking a male resident to fill a vacancy in this friendly and supportive home. Located on a shared block, the house is part of a small, close-knit community with another home nearby, where residents often spend time together. The current residents are active, independent men aged 30 to 59 who enjoy socialising and volunteering. If you’re confident in your independent living skills and looking to join a welcoming and socially connected household, this could be the perfect fit.

Factors to consider when applying

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible.  

  • You are aged 18 years or over.  

  • You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding.  

  • You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement
