We are seeking two female tenants who would love to join the existing female residents and enjoy a mix of social and independent activities.

Interests: enjoy outdoor activities such as going to walks in the park, swimming, listening to music and TV. Both enjoy structured routines and contribute towards the running of the house.

The house is located close to several parks and reserves. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. Hoyts Forest Hill cinema is also close-by. Forest Hill Chase shopping precinct is a short five-minute drive and ten-minute drive to Box Hill Hospital. The home is in an area well serviced by public transport.

Current support model

This property offers shared independent living with 24/7 rostered support, with an active night model of care. The residents have 1:1 support during the day.

Our staff have a wide range of skills and experience and are trained to support people to live the life they want and make community connections.

All staff have current First Aid and medication training. They also trained in Epilepsy and Wound Care management.

Regular household safety checks are conducted.

Factors to consider when applying

Life Without Barriers will conduct a screening and suitability assessment to ensure housemates are compatible. 

  • You are aged 18 years or over. 

  • You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS funding

  • You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) a service and accommodation agreement.
