Hybrid Town Hall Briefing on the NDIS Review

Igniting Inclusion
Join us at Igniting Inclusion, an evening to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) and social inclusion for all through creativity, comedy, and a discussion about increasing employment opportunities for people with disability.
Purchase a ticket at $20 and enjoy the laughter of the Tim Ferguson kind, an art exhibition of the inclusive kind and action of the disability employment game-changing kind. The event will also include a live performance from Justine Etakchi, and you’ll hear from disability advocates Dr. Scott Avery, International Day of People with Disability Ambassador, and Dr. Kirsty Nowlan, Executive Director of The Achieve Foundation.

Foster Care Information Webinar
Learn everything you need to know about foster care at our free online information session.
During the session, we will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session.

Cuppa in the Communi-tea
This free, accessible, and inclusive event connects residents with different service providers in the local community and council departments and offers technology support, free Wi-Fi, and the chance to borrow some books from the Mobile Library Van.
Drop in, have a cuppa, and chat with the Life Without Barriers team. Our friendly staff and foster carers will be happy to share all the information and insights into what it's like to be a foster carer and to answer any questions you might have.

Western Australia
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser hosted by Life Without Barriers
Life Without Barriers' Mental Health program team in Perth is hosting a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser to enhance the activities and events for the people we support through our Mental Health programs, including our Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS).
The ICLS program is shared, recovery-focused living within 24/7 supported accommodation for people with mental health needs. Supported accommodation can be transitional or provided on a long-term basis and can include 24-hour support as determined by the participant’s care plan and recovery journey.
Come down to Innaloo Bunnings to grab a sausage and chat with our friendly staff about our mental health support services!
