This January and February, Life Without Barriers is hosting and supporting in-person and online events. You can connect with our teams and learn more about our services at the events below.

New South Wales

Big Banana Coffs Classic Basketball

Join us at the Big Banana Coffs Classic for an exceptional weekend of basketball action, team bonding, and epic fun! Whether you're coming along to play in a team or as a spectator, this event promises to be a fun-filled weekend of basketball and unforgettable moments with friends and family.

Life Without Barriers staff and foster care ambassadors will have a stall at this event, ready to answer any questions you have about foster care.

Made With Love Markets

Made with Love Markets is the biggest dedicated handmade market in Coffs Harbour. This market showcases handmade, local, boutique and unique items made with love on the New South Wales North Coast.

We will have a stall at the market, and our friendly staff will be available to answer any questions you have about foster care.

Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade

Life Without Barriers is proud to be attending the 2026 Sydney Mardi Gras parade, a marvellous celebration of World Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community.

50 staff members, foster carers, the people we support, and their families will come together to get 'ecstatica' and be our group of fabulous marchers.

  • Time: 7:30pm - 10:30pm

  • Location: Route goes down Oxford Street, Flinders Street, and Anzac Parade

Northern Territory

Club Krock

Come along to Club Krock to enjoy a safe, inclusive and fun party environment for people of all abilities aged 18 and over. This event combines music, dancing and socialising to provide an unforgettable nightclub experience, fostering connections between the all-abilities community.

Club Krock is committed to promoting inclusivity, breaking down barriers, building meaningful relationships and enhancing the well-being of all participants.

South Australia

Survival Day at North Haven Surf Life Saving Club

Join Kura Yerlo at North Have Surf Life Saving Club for a powerful morning of connection, culture and community, as we come together to honour Survival Day.

This event is free and open to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds and will include a Welcome to Country, cultural workshops and experiences, stalls, music, and a free breakfast.

VALiD Having a Say Conference

This year, VALiD is celebrating 25 years of the Having a Say (HaS) conference with the theme, 'Strengthening our voices for a better future!'

Held annually in Geelong, Victoria, the HaS conference is an opportunity for people with disability to be in the spotlight and shine, as presenters, performers, volunteers and self-advocates.

Life Without Barriers looks forward to the HaS conference every year, and we're proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the conference in 2026.

Midsumma Festival Pride March

The Midsumma Festival is a highlight on Life Without Barriers' calendar each year and we are more excited than ever to connect with more of Victoria's LGBTQIA+ community to march together at the Midsumma Pride March!

Midsumma Pride March is a wonderful event where over 10,000 marchers strut down Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, cheered on by over 45,000 people who line the paths and balconies to show their support.

The march kicks off at 10:30am and everyone is welcome to come and watch the parade go by!
