The Disability Royal Commission has released a Commissioner’s report on Public hearing 20, which examined the experiences of people with disability engaging with service Life Without Barriers.
Public hearing 20 examined two case studies involving group homes operated by Life Without Barriers. Public hearing 20 is one of a series of Public hearings held by the Royal Commission, examining how disability service providers can and should prevent and respond to violence towards and abuse, neglect and exploitation of people with disability.
Life Without Barriers supports the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with Disability. We believe it is time for people living with a disability to be heard, and for these experiences to influence how we, as a nation, support people living with a disability.
