We join together as a disability community in support of a First Nations Voice to Parliament. We believe Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples know their communities best and can guide the answers that will enable us to preserve and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culture long into the future.

We join in solidarity with First Nations people, recognising many shared experiences of exclusion and of advocating for our human rights, including our right to self-determination.

We welcome the inclusion of a permanent Disability Advisory Group within the Voice to advise on how proposed laws and policies would impact on First Nations people with disability.

We embrace the generous invitation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and this year we unite to Vote From the Heart in support of a First Nations Voice to Parliament to be enshrined in the Constitution.

Be informed to vote – 14 October 2023.
