This page provides information for people in our Aged Care services, and their family members, about how we’re responding to the coronavirus pandemic.

How we are supporting you

Life Without Barriers remains committed to supporting you, and every other person who chooses our Aged Care services during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. As your service provider, we understand just how important it is to have the choice to continue your support, and to do so with confidence that we are following all the right measures to keep you safe.

So that we can continue to deliver the support you choose, we are making some adjustments to how we do things in order to protect your health and wellbeing. This means that the staff who support you are practising the highest hygiene and cleaning standards, as well as following advice from the Australian Government around access to facilities and social distancing, where possible.

Visitor restrictions in our Aged Care Services

We are taking the necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of our staff and every person who trusts us to provide Aged Care services.

To ensure people remain safe, we are seeking the support of the communities and partners we work with. Please do not visit our Life Without Barriers properties unless it is essential to service delivery or the wellbeing of people we support. If your visit is essential, remember to follow the Australian Government’s advice, such as staying two feet away where possible, practicing good hand hygiene, using hand sanitiser, and avoiding handshakes. If you feel unwell, please stay home. Thank you for your cooperation and helping us look after the people we support, across Australia.
