Life Without Barriers supports hundreds of people seeking asylum and refugee status, many from war-torn countries such as Afghanistan. We cannot imagine how devastating these scenes must be for those witnessing their homeland under siege.
The international community is beholding the impact of the current situation on the fundamental human rights of vulnerable citizens. From a place of peace, we state that we can never condone power sought through oppression, injustice, and persecution.
We stand with our Afghan community and join hundreds of organisations, businesses and community groups who are embracing calls for international community to offer immediate protection, safety and support for people fleeing Afghanistan.
