Livvy, Kristie and Sam are looking for a housemate to join their lovely house in Chadstone, Victoria.

In the quiet, leafy streets of Chadstone sits a warm and welcoming single-storey brick house with shady garden trees and a brand new Silver Staria ready for weekend adventures. Inside, sunlight spills across two cosy living areas, a modern kitchen hums with shared meals, and the large backyard offers a peaceful place to relax or enjoy the outdoors. It’s a house that feels lived-in, loved and full of colour.

The three women who live here are excited to welcome someone new who will fit into the rhythm, joy and comfort of the home they’ve created together. The home now has one light-filled bedroom available, complete with built-in robes, heating and cooling.

Livvy, Kristie and Sam look for a housemate

Livvy, brings a spark to the house from the moment she wakes up. She loves to cook, especially if she can do it while dancing around the kitchen and singing along to Taylor Swift or her favourite songs from Hairspray. Her weekends are filled with dance classes, drawings, and the occasional basketball game out the back. Livvy’s sense of humour keeps everyone laughing, and her weekly catch-ups with her parents always leave her glowing.

Kristie, who has lived here for more than a decade, brings warmth and stability to the home. She loves a chat, especially over a good coffee or a sneaky sweet treat from a local café. Yoga is her favourite way to unwind, and she’s impressively flexible, often surprising even herself. While she thrives on connection, she also enjoys retreating to front room with her music when she needs a moment to recharge. Trying new things can feel daunting, but with encouragement, she often discovers something she truly enjoys.

Sam, the longest resident, fills her days with adventure. With support, she gets out into the community Monday to Friday, swimming laps at the pool, browsing the library, exploring Warrandyte cafés or catching up with friends at her Friday beading class. She loves visiting her family whenever she can. Sam enjoys people’s full attention and is always ready to help with anything around the home, especially if it means spending quality time with someone.

Could you be their new housemate?

Life for Livvy, Kristie and Sam is shaped by choice, independence and mutual respect. Each woman has personalised her bedroom in her own style, and private spaces are treated as just that - private. In the communal areas, however, laughter is often drifting down the hallway.

Most evenings, someone is cooking dinner with the help of staff, and conversations roll easily as ingredients are chopped or plates are set. Wednesdays are “Champagne Wednesdays,” where the house comes together for a shared meal and a celebratory toast. On other nights, music pours out of the living room during karaoke, and disco lights flicker as everyone dances or sings along.

There are pamper days with hair, nails and makeup at the homemade salon in the front living area and weekends spent visiting local pubs, restaurants and cafés. Life Without Barriers support staff are present around the clock in a sleepover support model, encouraging each person to be as independent as possible and always listening to what the residents want their days to look like.

A Location with everything close by

The home is a short stroll to public transport, bike trails and leafy parklands. The neighbourhood cafés and shops are within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a coffee run, a shopping trip or a casual lunch together. It’s a well-connected pocket of Chadstone; quiet and calm, yet close to everything that makes life fun and convenient.

Who they hope will join them?

Livvy, Kristie and Sam are hoping to welcome someone who enjoys companionship and conversation, but also understands the comfort of personal space. Someone who values kindness, routines that make life run smoothly, shared adventures in the community and a home where respect comes first. They hope their new housemate will enjoy cooking nights, movie nights, music and the occasional disco evening and that they’ll be someone who contributes positively to the warmth of the home.

To join the household, you’ll need to be over 18, have suitable NDIS funding and be ready to take part in a compatibility process to make sure the match feels right for everyone. But most importantly, this is a home for someone who wants connection, someone who wants their own space, yes, but also a place where friendships grow naturally and daily life is shared in meaningful, joyful moments.

If that sounds like you, this home might just be the place where your next chapter begins. You can read more about the Chadstone property here.
