Life Without Barriers welcomes the opportunity to support people with disability and their direct care staff, whose services are transferring from Australian Unity.
Australian Unity will transfer disability services currently provided in various locations across New South Wales to Life Without Barriers from 12 December 2022.
Life Without Barriers is a registered NDIS provider with over 30 years of experience supporting people and their families with NDIS supports and provides services across Australia.
To ensure continuity of care for people with disability, the employment of Australian Unity staff who are providing services to people with disability, will also transfer to Life Without Barriers.
Chief Executive Claire Robbs said Life Without Barriers is committed to delivering outstanding services and will ensure a smooth transition for people with disability and their staff.
“Our organisation began as a disability service in Newcastle and today we continue that legacy of being a values-based organisation that is focused on the people we serve,” Ms Robbs said.
“Relationships with people with disability and their families are our priority – we are committed to welcoming people with disability and staff and taking the time to understand the preferences and choices of people whose services are transferring to us.”
Life Without Barriers is working in close partnership with Australian Unity to create a positive experience for people with disability in the transfer of services.
