Learn about the local team members based out of our Unley office in South Australia! They will work with you to understand your priorities and support your NDIS goals.

Leigh, Program Manager

My goal is providing immense support to teams, across South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory, and our wonderful participants! I have worked in the Disability sector for more than twenty five years, with both young people and adults, specialising in Community Mental Health and Acquired Brain Injury.

Throughout my career, I’ve completed training in areas including Suicide Intervention, Mental Health First Aid, Cultural Awareness and Domestic Violence. I completed a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies Leadership, Diploma in Management and Community Services Mental Health. AS well as Certificate IV’s in both Frontline Management & Disability Work.

I love watching footy on the weekends with my husband, family, and friends and I have many other interests!

As a person with my own lived learnt experience, I like to think that sharing my skills and experiences may benefit other people on their own journeys.


Lyndsey, Senior Support Coordinator

In my role it is important to me that participants are not only able to use their whole plan, but using it in the best way possible - by being connected with the right supports for them!

I've worked in the community services sector for over twenty years, both with young people and adults, specialising in Mental Health. Throughout my career I have undertaken trainings and seminars to build my knowledge in life areas such as Suicide Intervention, Mental Health First Aid, Cultural Awareness and Domestic Violence.

I am a mum to a busy toddler and two fur-babies. Between this combination my life outside work is full! I love the beach and if anything were possible, my dream job would be a mermaid.

Qualifications: Certificate III in Community Services and Certificate IV in Youth Work

Clement, Support Coordinator

Empowering participants to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life, is what motivates me in this role. I support this through focusing in building rapport and to create trusting relationships with the individuals I support.

I recently completed a Bachelor of Social Work, through the University of Flinders. I have

Education and study are important to me. I am focused on developing my skills and knowledge to provide the best support I can. I commenced in the role of Support Coordinator in 2024, and I am enjoying learning and exploring in this role!

I love to cook cuisine from various culture, and I enjoy gardening. My indoor plants are the only pets I have for now! I enjoy reading and collecting vinyl, I have few collections of records covered in dust!

Kristy, Support Coordinator

My role is to listen and empower you to make decisions that will improve and enhance your life by connecting you to services that can support you to achieve your goals! Working with people from all walks of life is what drives me, I have an invested interest within the Mental Health space. I enjoy exploring and making new experiences with family and friends on weekends. I’m a proud mum of my son who is striving towards representing Australia at the Olympics.

Qualifications: Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Practice in the Specialist Homeless Sector, Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment


Brooke, Support Coordinator

I am big on efficiency and accountability, and believe these qualities are integral to the Support Coordination role. I am always conscious of supporting your goals within the envelope of funding provided. I have five years in Disability Employment Services, this predominately involved supporting individuals impacted by psychosocial conditions find employment in the open market.

I love reading and this is the main way I like to unwind, when I’m not at work!

Qualifications: Diploma in Human Resource Management, Certificate IV in Employment Services


Sharlene, Specialist Support Coordinator

I’m all about person centre practice and building relationships with the individuals I’m supporting and their families. I’ve worked in this role for over six years, and I have supported individuals to address and overcome complex systemic and personal challenges that they face. I enjoy working with people impacted by psychosocial challenges, as well as those who interact with Health and Justice systems.

The joy and baby of my life is Bam Bam, he is a 7-year-old Staffy, who does most things with me (unfortunately we’re yet to get him a role at Life Without Barriers)!

Qualifications: Double Degree of Social Work and Social Planning, Flinders University, Registration AASW


Louise, Psychosocial Recovery Coach and Support Coordinator

My goal as a recovery coach and support coordinator are to identify how my client would like to be supported. My focus when supporting clients is building their capacity to understand their NDIS Plan and to self-advocate when they don’t like something, or when their plan does not meet their needs. When working with my clients, we focus first on their strengths and then identify areas, skills or knowledge that they would like to improve.

I have lived and learned experience with disability and mental health. I am an avid Nintendo gamer, I also love Pokémon, The Simpsons, art, travel and dogs.

Qualifications: Masters of Social Work from Flinders University, Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies and Culture Change from Macquarie University.


Daniel, Psychosocial Recovery Coach

I value honesty and transparency and believe this is integral to my role. These qualities are my focus as I work alongside individuals, to ensure that they are on clear on what services and supports are available to them. I believe providing individuals with space to make decisions and take risks by validating their feelings, shows them the respect they deserve. My professional experience is predominately in the mental health space. My prior role as a peer worker in a voluntary mental health rehabilitation centre, allowed me to share my own experience and recovery journey to support individuals through their own periods of change and discovery in their lives.

I am deep thinker and enjoy meaningful conversations

Qualifications: Cert 1V in Mental Health and Cert 111 in Community Services.


Andrea, Specialist Support Coordinator

As specialist support coordinator my aim is to deliver a higher level of support coordination for NDIS participants whose situations are more complex and who need specialist support. I truly enjoy working along with participants to overcome challenges in their support environment and ensuring consistent and innovative service delivery as well as building their capacity to reach their full potential.

I enjoy very much spending time with my family, love reading about ancient history and watching documentaries, I enjoy music very much in particular Latin music and dancing of course!
