
We have 14 Life Without Barriers Support Coordinators in the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales covering all demographic areas with face-to-face and remote access services.
Alisa Monaghan, Program Manager and Kristie McManus, Senior Support Coordinator, manage the team of highly skilled, caring, experienced Support Coordinators. The team dedicate themselves to achieving the best outcomes for the people they support and their families. We work closely with the person and their networks to ensure their needs and requirements are met, and they have the best opportunities to meet their NDIS and life goals.
We are a large, diverse, support coordination team with extensive experience in disability services. Our team comes from many different backgrounds and speak multiple languages. We provide flexible, remote support that feels as personal and connected as having a team right there with you, ensuring you receive consistent, culturally responsive, and accessible guidance tailored to your needs.
Languages spoken within our Support Coordination team include English, German, Mandarin, Urdu, Hindi, Lebanese, Pushto and Punjabi.

What Support Coordination services does Life Without Barriers provide?
Our teams work across Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney and surrounds. They have experience in all aspects of Support Coordination.
At Life Without Barriers, we offer Level 2 and Level 3.
We can:
Connect you to the NDIS and other government services to ensure you receive support.
Help you negotiate supports within your plan budgets or gather evidence to request a new NDIS plan.
Monitor your plan spend together and make sure you understand the management of your plan budgets.
Develop plans and contingencies for more or different support options - especially if your support needs fluctuate!
Provide hospital discharge services; Liaising directly with the hospital team, relevant services, and NDIS Hospital Liaison Officer to ensure that you have the supports in place upon your return home.
Work with NDIS specialist teams; Aged Care Advisory, the Complex Support Branch, including the Justice and Health Liaison Teams and Review teams and the NDIS Health Liaison Unit Team
Deliver up to date NDIS information to ensure you’re informed; Our Support Coordinators are supported to understand NDIS changes, via fortnightly regional team meetings and national Share and Learns, specialised training modules and a thorough supervision and performance framework.
Regular easy communication and alternative contacts if your Support Coordinator is on leave!
Life Without Barriers Support Coordinators are independent and ensure that you are the decision maker, every time. We understand the importance of choice and always provide you with a range of potential service providers.
Should you opt for both Support Coordination and other services from Life Without Barriers, rest assured, we handle these services independently to eliminate any conflict of interest and to ensure you have the right support team around you.
