Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Employee Assistance Scheme (EAP) is a counselling service to assist with personal or life issues that may arise from time to time. Services are provided independently of LWB, in complete confidence and at no cost.

The Carer Personal Assistance Program is not a crisis line and is not designed to assist in resolving matters related to children in care. Any urgent matters related to the care of children should be directed to your care team or on call support.

You can use EAPS for issues such as

  • personal issues
  • stress management
  • emotional abuse
  • concerns about your children
  • financial and legal problems
  • grief and loss
  • substance abuse
  • relationship issues
  • anxiety and depression
  • traumatic events
  • domestic abuse
  • low self esteem

Contact EAP directly for up to 2 counselling sessions. You can request approval for further sessions from your care team if required. Counselling is generally provided off site or over the phone.

Contact EAP directly 24 hours / 7 days a week on – 1300 135 600.
