Life Without Barriers is a secular, not-for-profit organisation providing care and support services across Australia in urban, rural and remote locations and in New Zealand.
Our community-based programs assist children, young people, adults, families and communities. Our work spans across care and protection, disability, mental health, homelessness, youth justice and immigration.
Life Without Barriers has grown from humble beginnings into one of the most significant not-for-profit organisations in Australia, with over 85 support centres providing care services to the community. Our workforce of over 3000 employees, carers, contractors and volunteers support 4000 clients with high and complex needs.

We have achieved the following quality certifications, enabling us to provide services across Australia:
- NSW: Accreditation by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian as an out-of-home-care provider.
- QLD: Accredited by the Department of Communities for disability services; licensed by the Department of Communities for out-of-home care services.
- SA: Licensing through the Department for Families & Communities as a provider of out-of-home care services.
- TAS: Registration and approval through the Department of Health & Human Services for disability services (Intensive Support Services).
- VIC: Registration with the Victorian Department of Human Services as a disability services provider.
- WA: Our disability services are undergoing appraisal.
