Your safety is important to us. We work hard to make sure that adults we employ are people that you are safe with, and feel safe with. We do this by:

  • checking to make sure that people who work with us haven’t harmed young people in the past
  • explaining how important it is that young people are safe at LWB
  • telling them that we expect them act in ways that are safe for young people.

You can expect to be safe with adults who work with LWB. This means that they understand your rights, speak to you respectfully, don’t hurt you, and don’t touch you in ways that you don’t like or don’t give consent for.

If you don’t feel like you’re safe with an adult who works for LWB, you can talk to your carer, your Case Manager, or someone else you trust. You can also email us at tellsomeone@lwb.org.au.

We’ll listen to you.

You can also call Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800.
