We’re recognising the 30th anniversary of Child Protection Week.
From 7 to 11 September, we’re recognising the 30th anniversary of Child Protection Week.
This year’s theme ‘Putting Children First’ is about prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children and means children need to feel safe and loved. Encouraging us all to look at how we can prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children and help them to grow up well.
As a major provider of child, youth and family services we offer out-of-home-care every day to support children and their families. So, safeguarding children and creating conditions where they can thrive, succeed and feel safe are our highest priority.
With many children in care have experienced significant trauma, including entering care the role of Life Without Barriers’ staff and carers is to provide a safe and supportive home for children who, for various reasons, need time away from their family to heal and grow.
