ChillOut festival 2018
At Life Without Barriers (LWB) we celebrate equality, accessibility, diversity and inclusion.
This year for the first time, Life Without Barriers will be holding a stall at ChillOut festival in Daylesford, Victoria 8-12 March. ChillOut is regional Victoria’s biggest and longest running country queer pride event.
The purpose of the ChillOut Daylesford is to promote and encourage tolerance, understanding and inclusion of the LGBTIQ community through arts, cultural activities and events; promoting and supporting LBGTIQ expression in Regional Victoria.
The ChillOut festival runs from the 8-12 March 2018 with numerous events occurring daily. Some of the more popular events include ChillOut’s official Launch – Out & Proud Disco, Marilyn Monroe – DRAG COMP, ChillOut Carnival and the Pink Pool Party.
Our stall is an opportunity to reach out to the local community to promote and recruit our services such as foster care, particularly to same sex couples. We are always looking for foster carers who are unique and come from many different backgrounds. If you are in the area we would love if you came for a visit.
The ChillOut festival can be accessed by car or by train. Several train lines service the area in combination with local bus companies. The festival will also have a free shuttle bus running all weekend to help move you around the ChillOut events.
