Montoro House is a spacious 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom home situated in the beachside suburb of Port Kennedy. It’s close to parks, shops, cafes/restaurants, a community centre and public transport.

It has an open-plan living space, heating and cooling throughout, WiFi, double garage and a low maintenance backyard with an entertaining space.

We are looking for two ladies to join our two existing female tenants who enjoy socialising and watching movies. This vacancy would ideally suit ladies in their 20s, 30s or 40s who mix well with others and like to join in.

Room information

Two vacant bedrooms, both with built-in-robes, wooden flooring, private windows and neutral colour scheme. All bedrooms have air-conditioning and heating.

House information

Montoro House has 4-bedrooms and 1-staff ensuite bedroom. It’s a spacious open-plan with two lounge areas, a dining space and separate art/activity room. The shared tenants' bathroom has a shower and bath with a separate toilet. The low-maintenance backyard has a garden, small lawn area, and an impressive undercover, paved entertaining space. The property also has reverse-cycle ducted air-conditioning throughout, plus WiFi and a secure double garage.

Housemates

Two female tenants, aged 29 and 43. Personalities: Both tenants are quiet and respectful. They are tidy and always willing to work together to help complete household chores. Interests: Our tenants enjoy socialising and going to the movies. One of the ladies also attends TAFE.

Location information

Located directly opposite a park with a pond and close to numerous reserves, gardens, ovals, plus a lake and the beach. Warnbro Shopping Centre, cafes, restaurants and a local community centre are all closeby, with a bus stop at the end of the street providing easy access.

Accessibility

Not fully wheelchair accessible. Standard door size and small steps. No accessible modifications have been made.

Current support model

The house is staffed 24/7 with a staffing ratio of 1:4. Active support is provided from 7am until 11pm, followed by a sleepover shift. All staff at this home are female workers who are trained in First Aid, medication management and epilepsy.

Factors to consider when applying

• You are aged 18 years or over 

• You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS funding. 

• You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) an accommodation agreement.
