Kinsale House is an open-plan 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located on a quiet street close to parks, local shops, community centres and bus stops in the beachside suburb of Port Kennedy. It has a large backyard, alfresco entertaining area, ducted air-conditioning throughout and a double garage.
We are looking for a female to join our two female tenants who both have a diagnosis of autism. These tenants enjoy a wide range of activities, including swimming, basketball, bowling, arts and craft, shopping and walking on the beach. This vacancy would ideally suit a female in her 20s or 30s who has some similar interests and requires routine, structure and consistent staff.
One vacant double bedroom with built-in-robes, and a neutral carpet and colour scheme. Ducted cooling system throughout all bedrooms and living areas.
Established 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on a large block. It has ample front and back garden areas, and a secure double garage. An open-plan living area with a lounge, dining space and bonus activity area, which leads to an undercover alfresco entertaining area. There is also an additional separate lounge room, and the house has heating and ducted air-conditioning.
Two female tenants, aged 29 and 32. One tenant has a diagnosis of autism and epilepsy, the other tenant has a diagnosis of autism and has an intellectual disability. Personalities: Both tenants like to have routine, structure and consistent staff. Interests: Accessing the local community, shopping, arts and craft, swimming, basketball, bowling, walking on the beach and playing on their tablet devices.
Located on a quiet street in the beautiful beachside suburb of Port Kennedy. The property is close to parks, local shops, community centres, beaches and public transport (bus stops) for easy access to all amenities.
Will be wheelchair accessible once a small ramp is installed to frontdoor. No modifications have been made to the house.
Current support model
Kinsale House is staffed on a 24/7 basis at a 1:3 ratio. Skillset and training of all staff includes: First Aid, medication management, epilepsy, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, current restrictive practices and healthy cooking.
Factors to consider when applying
• You are aged 18 years or over
• You are eligible for, and able to secure, an appropriate level of NDIS funding.
• You have the financial means to pay rent and utilities and are prepared to sign (or for a representative to sign) an accommodation agreement.
