What is an associated provider?
Under the Aged Care Act 2024, an associated provider is defined as:
An Associated Provider* is any person or organisation connected to an Approved Provider who helps to deliver, manage, or support aged care services.
*They are not the Approved Provider themselves, but they still play an important role in how services are provided. This includes, but is not limited to, brokers, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors who are engaged or affiliated with the Approved Provider’s operations.
Associated Providers Handbook
Thank you for being a Life Without Barriers Associated Provider. We look forward to working with you to help our clients live their best life at home with tailored support to suit their unique needs.
Compliance requirements
All aged care providers (including Associated Providers) must meet government regulations and quality standards that protect the safety, health, and wellbeing of older people receiving care. To support this, all Associated Providers must maintain current qualifications and background checks. Under the new Aged Care Act and standards, it is our responsibility to ensure these checks are valid and properly maintained. The following documents support us in ensuring this.
