Online Carer Connect
Definitions
Authorised user: a person who has been given access privileges by Life Without Barriers to the Life Without Barriers Online Carer Connect. E.g. a carer, SOC (Supporter of Carers) or Life Without Barriers employee who works with carers.
Unauthorised user: a person who has not been given access privileges by Life Without Barriers to the Life Without Barriers Online Carer Connect. E.g. a person in the care of Life Without Barriers or someone who does not work directly for Life Without Barriers.
Carer Portal Content Manager: a person appointed by Life Without Barriers to manage updates to information communicated through Online Carer Connect.
Carer Portal Account Manager: a person appointed by Life Without Barriers to manage user access to Online Carer Connect.
The general website Terms of Use apply when using Online Carer Connect, as do the following:
- You must not disclose your login details to anybody.
- Your username and password should be stored securely, only for your personal access and use.
- You must not download or display information that appears on Online Carer Connect to unauthorised people. (Excludes information regarding fundraising or other events that are open to the general public.)
