We view employment services as an opportunity to provide specialised assistance to our clients in a targeted area of their life while also being aware of the unique personal issues each person faces on a daily basis.
The service assists an individual to develop the skills to enter, participate in and maintain a connection with the workplace, whether it is in a volunteer, open or supported employment arrangement.
We operate on a strengths-based approach that enables the focus to shift from fixing flaws to building strengths so individuals who live with a disability can succeed in accessing the community through employment. The core purpose of all employment programs is to support individuals to obtain stable employment and develop clear career pathways within the context of their personal goals and aspirations.
Employment services may also work as a link to existing employment and vocational providers and departments to re-engage or improve the supports the individual is receiving.
